Technical and Scientific Cooperation Agreement between ESPOL and Bionaturaleza Biotech S.A.S
In the framework of strengthening research and technological innovation, the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) and the company Bionaturaleza Biotech S.A.S have signed a technical and scientific cooperation agreement. This agreement seeks to foster mutual collaboration on projects that promote sustainable agricultural development, aligned with the objectives of both institutions.
ESPOL, represented by its rector, Ph.D. Cecilia A. Paredes V., is one of the main higher education institutions in Ecuador, recognized for its focus on science, technology, and innovation. As an autonomous public institution, ESPOL plays a key role in the advancement of education and research in the country. Furthermore, it stands out for its commitment to technological transfer and the development of territorial and business capacities that contribute to the economic and social progress of Ecuador.
For its part, Bionaturaleza Biotech S.A.S, under the direction of its legal representative, Álvaro Torres Vintimilla, MBA, specializes in the research and development of products that improve agricultural productivity through the use of microorganisms. These products not only reduce the use of chemical pesticides but also promote more sustainable agriculture, generating healthier foods and a positive impact on ecosystems.
The agreement signed between ESPOL and Bionaturaleza Biotech S.A.S aims to develop joint initiatives that integrate scientific knowledge and technological innovation to improve crop cultivation in Ecuador. Likewise, this agreement will promote the active participation of students, professors, and researchers, creating learning and cooperation spaces that will benefit both academia and the country’s active agricultural industry.
With this type of strategic alliance, ESPOL reinforces its commitment to the productive transformation of the country, consolidating itself as a benchmark in higher education and scientific research in Latin America.
